Compares two dates for equality down to the year (months, days, hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds are ignored)

Parameters

dt  DateOnly
The first DateOnly argument
other  DateOnly
The DateOnly argument to compare with

Return Value

Boolean
True if the dates are equal down to the year

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type DateOnly. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
